A dedicated session for adults starting ballet. Begin with the foundations and build familiarity with ballet movement and vocabulary.

Can I start ballet as an adult?

Yes. Our Absolute Beginning Ballet for Adults session welcomes adults starting ballet. Choose that session if you’re looking for an introduction, or are needing a refresher as you return to ballet. Contact us for help selecting a class.

What should I wear?

Adult ballet attire is a leotard or T-shirt in any color, with tights, leggings or biker shorts and ballet shoes. Choose clothing that lets you move comfortably.

What can I expect in ballet class?

Ballet classes generally combine supported exercises at the barre with movement in the center of the room. The pace and complexity depend on the level. Let your teacher know if it’s your first class or you’re returning after time away.

How do I pay and reserve my place?

Use the GWDC registration portal for the Absolute Beginning Ballet for Adults session. Book recurring adult beginning and intermediate classes through Punchpass, where you can see available classes and current purchase options.
